Liver Flush

TEA RECIPE:

Mix together in a blender:

Juice of 1 grapefruit or several oranges or orange juice

4-6 tbs. fresh lemon or lime juice (double the amount of olive oil)

2-3 tbs. pure cold pressed olive oil

1-3 crushed cloves of garlic

Optional: Grated ginger and a dash of cayenne

Drink this.  Then drink a glassful of Liver Flush tea, without honey, while it is hot.  Drink as many cups of the tea as possible during the day, with honey if desired.

You can either make the recipe below or purchase prepared teabags of it from me.

1 tsp. licorice root, 1 tsp. aniseed, 1 tsp. peppermint leaves, 1 tsp. Fenugreek seeds, 1 tsp. fennel seeds, 4 slices of ginger root cut 1/8 inch thick, 1 tsp. flax seed (or linseed)

Boil the ginger root 3 minutes in 1/1/2 pints of water.  Then pour this over the other ingredients and let simmer, covered, 10-15 minutes.
